Unforgettable Flight

For the first time in my life, I traveled internationally oversea alone. A flight trip that I will not forget. As the day was approaching, I saw the news that Hong Kong airport and all other transportations got closed down due to the protesting. For those who don’t know, Hong Kong has been protesting since the beginning of June and has escalated over the past few months. Thus, the night before, I was worried and stressed about my flight to Hong Kong. However, I landed safely!

I have arrived in Hong Kong about two weeks early, a one-week orientation starts on August 26, 2019, and school officially starts on September 2, 2019. Because of the protesting in Hong Kong, I have decided not to stay there. Luckily, I have a China visa, so I am temporarily residing with my relatives in Zhong Shan, China. While I am in mainland China, I hope to explore Zhong Shan, where my parents grew up, and other regions.
