Thank You, Mr. Freeman!

Dear Mr. Freeman and the Freeman Foundation,

Studying abroad has always been a dream of mine, but I never thought it could happen. However, my dream has finally come true thanks to the Freeman Scholarship. I will be studying business at the City University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong for Fall 2019! Residing in a foreign country will be a challenge for me to come out of my comfort zone and become more independent. During the abroad, I am anxious to see how I am able to adapt to living in a foreign country all on my own, as well as learning more about my own heritage.

I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Freeman and the Freeman Foundation for their generous donations in supporting Shidler students, including myself, who are studying abroad in Asia. Without this scholarship, studying abroad will still be a dream rather than reality. This monetary donation will help enhance my experience with Chinese culture and traditions.
